I got high ping playing in servers, and started look for fix in forums with google.

If u have this problem, try use this.

With win xp sp2 everythings ok, just normal 60 ping in beer, 70 in aim, 70 in dark 1x1, 55-60 in mr, and with win7 7600 build = ping in foreign countries servers jumping up to 2 times, 60-130ms, its not isp problem, not all has this problem, i found sth that its fuked up with some function in network throttling in win7, dont remember exactly and dont want remember again. Here what i did after searching in forums to stop high ping jumping in e+ mod in foreign countries:

start/run/paste: netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled [ENTER]
start/run/paste: netsh int tcp set global congestionprovider=ctcp [ENTER]

remove tick out of TCP/IPv6 in Local Area Connection Properties

or/and:

start/run/paste: regedit [ENTER]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile

Double click on “NetworkThrottlingIndex“.

To disable completely, enter FFFFFFFF with base hexadecimal.

Reboot PC.

After that i got stable ping 60 - 70ms abroad
