windows crash?
Is it just random, or are you doing something that consumes alot of system resources?
yeah linux... cause booting is for adding hardware
too bad i never learned it...
Yeah, Linux is so stable. Actually you only have to reboot for a new kernel, or putting new parts in your computer. I know of server laptops that runs Linux and it hasn't been restarted in 2 years
its conflicts in some program propably that you have recently installed, if your system have worked before, try to (as someone else said) uninstall the programs you have recently installed, and if that doesn't work, you could "borrow" from someone a hdd, move over your important files there, then install new, clean os on your own hdd and later on move back your files.
Sometimes, I'm not to sure, Windows O/S upgrades has two choices. You can "Install a full clean copy of XP" or "Upgrade to XP keeping files" , you should try running the install CD and see what happens, if that fails, wait for a month then upgrade directly to Win Vista beta .
Hope this helps (probably won't though)
Coo|er.
Yeah, but what I said is that you can KEEP your files and switch OS aswell, well you can do that when upgrading from 98 to 2000, ME to XP should work the same so your not losing any of your personal files, just the WINDOWS folder shiz and the system files on yer C:, so don't worry really.
it just slows down...than a crash..than blue screen...that i hit enter(always the same message)...comes back...same crash...hit enter...black screen
