Add to that the fact most caught cheaters that have even a small bit of common sense in them will stop cheating once exposed and publicly condemned. Hell, i'm in a clan/team/whatever with someone that used to cheat on e+. Since then he apologized, was given a second chance, and turned out to be a good player on his own + a nice guy and teammate (even if i only played with him a handful of times ).
Doesn't hurt nothing to give someone a second chance and see what they do with it. Banning someone takes only 10 seconds, making them think again and stop bullshitting will not only give you the good samaritan butterflies going on in your stomach, it will also extend the small community you guys have by one more productive, clean player.

Exactly...its about seeing the big picture. And to be lenient to the ones who deserve it.

I'm all up for that, but you still kinda forget the OTHER reason people are being punished for their crimes ( other then just make them suffer/pay for what they did ), you want it to deter other people from doing the same thing.yes, it's not likely that a kid who's thinking about cheating really thinks oh look what happened to pusik for e.g, maybe I shouldn't. but it IS likely that a kid who's thinking about cheating will say : " eh, if I get caught, I'll just have to apologize and wait a couple of months to play RANKED, it's not like I can't play anymore "

This isn't about playing ranked, it is about playing on a public server which is private proberty, he is still banned on ranking...

I was replying to what beast and madbringer said, that they believe people should have second chances and the right guidelines etc...In a shorter way - I said that the punishment ( ban ) has more to it than just punish the "felon", it should deter people from following the "felon"'s way.My whole post actually has nothing to do with what sort of ban he had or not, maybe a bit when I explained it with the example, but it's minor.

Kent, 2 things.1st. Go to school and learn english or use google.translator if u can't understand messages, that were posted before.
2nd. PUSIK is busted on cheating - he was kicked by pb.
