r_subdivisions "0 - 80"
is allowed by PunkBuster.
You can r_subdivisions "0 - 999"
but you will see this kind of problems you have right now if you go above 80.
Moreover, the game will not know how to calculate "vertex" and you'll see polygonal curves changing ingame.
I don't know if I well-explained it in the last sentence, maybe someone who has more knowledge in graphic calculation could explain it better.
FPS got yellow card for r_subdivisions "-10" not "0", so don't worry.
But according to this thread the correct value is between "1" and "80".
