Hi guys. My country (flag) defaults to USA on some servers, but I'm from the UK. /xp_country does not seem to work. Is there a way to change it to UK in my cfg. (also my E+ profile has a USA flag too)

Well m8,have you tried to change it in the q3.cfg? You can open it in notepad,then find the xp_country parameter and set it to xp_country"UK"
And @ the forums hmm...change it in your profile might help

Well mow,i dont use AOL. And is that remark to me as a zombie cl or what? I dont understand. if there is anything else you're thinking about use some other place dude,i'm just trying to help my friend here.

the question about aol was refered to topiccreator. germans with AOL as provider has a US-IP, following an US-Flag.

Afraid I can't help but it's kind of funny as I appear to have gotten a UK flag all of a sudden where I used to have an SE one. Only relevance with anything I saw was formatting my computer but that might aswell be coincidence.
Also you non-zombie's (both of you), that's really childish and unneccessary... Not telling you how to act but telling you how it is. Spamming the same stuff in irrelevant topics and being sarcastic and shit really isn't much better than actual cheating since it has the same effect; ruining the fun for others and starting crap. There's a topic about this already and it's not this one...

thanks Torzelan. The US flag only appeared on my profile after i inserted an avatar and saved it. strange eh? It's just annoying because im from the UK and when im playing quake, people keep asking how i have a 32 ping in the USA lol

than it is simply because u r at AOL. AOL IPS = US IPS, and country DB just c u as US-Person cause of your AOL IP.
