I'm having trouble editing the voting options. I have my cfg setup as XP_vote "map_restart,nextmap,map" but there's a problem. When ever I'm in-game and I type in "/callvote" into the console. I get vote commands are "conf,map_restart,nextmap,map". Why is "conf" in there? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

As far as I know it's not possible to remove conf from voting list. If you don't want ppl to change it, just remove configs other than one you use.

I think Osk is right, and besides, it's not bad to have conf in there. All it does is enable callvoting for server configuration (plus, edawn, e5r, e6, etc.)

does u run the game as local server? server and client in one running q3 copy?

remember xp_vote is server side command, it need to be put in server cfg, or set through console of the server by /rcon set xp_vote "commands", u might check if u don't have xp_vote in rotation.txt if there is xp_vote remove it completely

if u did /xp_vote "commands" without *rcon* u did set these settings not onto server where are u but on your own pc

No criticizing what Oskaliber wrote but it seemed a little confusing.

Since you can't prevent "conf" to be listed even if you don't have it in seta xp_vote, simply list only your default cfg in voteconf.txt

But keep as many cfgs as you want in the Conf directory (folder). This way, admins and refs can load them but players cannot callvote them.
