You want a Protect the Leader Public Server ?
originally the PTL gametype had more than just the objective of 'kill the other leader'
there was a secondary objective where the leader could reach the opposition "flag point" and would win the round, that's why the leader was gimped weaponwise, otherwise it would have been too easy for him to reach the end.
the reason of this is that it would still be interesting with less than 3v3. cos if you have 1v1 with the leaders it becomes a facepalm gametype, while you can still play freeze 1v1.
it was broken in 1.03 (and before?) where we complained about the flag spawns. i dont know if or how it has been fixed in 2.0, but other gametypes fit the excessive gameplay better. i would have loved to have suggested fixes and tweaks to improve PTL that have been discussed in the past but due to conflicts of interest with respect to edawn, i am morally not in a position to disclose them.
good luck with the ptl cup and raising awareness of other gametypes.
