Your best mouse ?
In early years i used to play on some crap ball or optical mouses.
Then 'dziadek' sent me his Logitech G5 and was a bit hard for me to become accustomed to it. It was to heavy for me. After some problems like locking LMB when using this crap Logitech set point, I'm still using it and won't change it.
9/10 because i never tried another mice ;]
g5 is out of competition, sorry.
from the mices i had/have (cheap wireless, mx500 , mx510, g5, xai, 2x ie3. id go for ie as my best
Allright my turn for this , thus i nerver have had a wide variety of mice , but my experience covers few of the best mice for this game so here we go ,
My first gaming mice was this one : Rapier v1 ( i still have it )
pretty darn accurate i must admit , but the sensor was suffering from a lot of possitive accel and negative accel , it was pretty weird . and the wire even though was thick and tough it broke on me .Shape was anything but symetrical , was quite a pain to get used to it , and was quite a pain while playing another mouse .Response-wise it was ok even on 1000 hz , but i mostly played on 500 , because the obvious reasons. The price when this product was released , back in 09 was about 90 euros , I bought it for less than 10 euros , 3 years ago , so for a sensor which has 7800 fps , polling rate up to 1000 hz and 3200 dpi was pretty darn worth it.build quality is pretty neat made up of 2 layers of heavy plastic , it's mostly a compromise which the Verbatim had to make in order to release a high quality mouse , build quality > weight (according to Verbatim) it weights about 168 grams , without the 5 , 4.5 grams removable weights ,which I forgot to mention , one flaw was standing out though , the prediction on this mouse was very noticeable unfortunatly .

Final rating : 6.8/10
Another mouse which I had only for testing was mx518 , i tested it for 2 h , and i must admit the shape and build quality was way higher over the Rapier v1 , eventhough was a bit slippery , and it felt light when i played with it , but got used to it faster than i thought .The optical sensor made the difference between those 2 mice i had till then , was way up better than the v1's laser because , of course it was optical , optical>laser, even though it had less sensor fps somewhere around 5 000 if i recall corectly, but the sensor is flawless , no prediction , no accel , and tiny bit more accurate .The wire was pretty annoying , it was bit stiff than it should've . The wight was about 130 grams .

And the third mouse i had was Logitech G400 (no prediction version) , well , i had this mouse for 4 months , and it delivered a great gaming experience . The first days since i bought it , it felt like a total dissapointment , couldn't get used to it at all , but then , after 1 month or so , after i set it up properly it really felt like the perfect tool for everyday's gaming . First thing which i'd like to begin my review with is the software of this mouse , I really , had no idea , why ppl we're bragging on all forums to unninstall , or don't install at all this software , after a few tests ,I concluded that's just placebo ,the sofware doesn't do anything bad to this mouse.Build quality , pretty much the same as mx518 , the shapes are identical, big + to the g400 developers for excluding the slippery part on the top side of the mouse , made a great difference , at least for me.Sensor ( Avago S3095) , flawless (nuf said). The wire quality , i think , its the worse part of this mouse , which scares the customers of , The wire on 80% on G400's will break in like 2 to 8 months that's a fact , and i was one of the unlucky winners of a G400 time-bomb . Weight about 132 grams , pretty heavy , but at the same time not too heavy , bit hard on flickshoting.Response - well for the first time i had a mouse which didnt had any problems running at 1000 hz , it was steady all the way .

And the mice i currently use right now : Microsoft Intelli 1.1a . Right of the bat , best mouse i ever had , it pretty much have all the things I ever wanted a mouse to have : weight around 90 grams , sensor (it has the same sensor as WMO , and ms intelli 3. , flawless , its perfect for my sensitivity , 34cm/360 . The shape is perfectly symetrical , which is a big deal for me , the wire can be annoying at times , but nothing i cant
handle , its simple, no gimnickey buttons or other weird things that have no place in a gaming mouse . The only thing i found annyoing the most at this mouse is the button on the side , i almost every time press it by accident , the tracking its absolutely impecable. The response is pretty good , even though its a hassle to get this mouse to work on 500 hz

So wich one is the best finally? I will need a new mouse soon.. Strong buttons and cable is priority. I am medium low sens player, I need one side button and my pad is Goliathus (Fragged Control). I used to play on Deathadder but buttons are too weak for me..
yeah, the same here. I want to buy a really badass mouse, and i don't want to spend 100 euros to regrets in few months. So, if you had no mouse and u have a budget of 100 euros, which one will you buy? ( best mouse for playing fps).
G400 S!
G400 S!
don't , just don't buy the new g400 , for me the best mouse , compared to g400 mx518 and rapier v1 is the intelli 1.1a hope this helps.
@ ov3r : Deathadder 2013 , so said the best mouse on the market atm.
I'm not a mouse expert, but my current mouse (Razer Deathadder 3500) works fine for me. I'd rate it 8/10. If i had spare money i'd buy the Razer Lachesis
