Did u dissassemble it? Its kinda unknown what exactly it does,now im sure only about surfing,that it improved,but not about ping cause my provider is still messing with settings,and my results vary alot.I also had a period of ping 500 today cause of provider and after that its not good as it used to be,its 10ms higher again,just like before the tweak.Maybe my provider noticed the improvement and is now blocking it somehow

Well Im not sure about ping,my provider is currently in the middle of a network infrastructure upgrade so might be a coincidence that I noticed the improvement in ping after applying the fix...or not.Dunno..

But this is mainly to speed up browsing,some ppl saw speed increase in online speed tests also,I personally havent,but my browsing always felt slow and now after the fix I can feel Im really on 1.5 Mbit and browsing is finally fast as it should be.Pages open instantly,heavy forums also.
