Note: I think is a linux bug only, under wine e+ works fine.
works with linux, 100% sure 100% pure 100% pb
works with linux, 100% sure 100% pure 100% pb
Do you use original Quake3? I'm using ioquake and openarena under linux and don't work me Maybe is a problem with new compiled versions of q3.
i think the problem is on how you start the quake 3 ... the command line parameters must be changed now since its qvm based and not dll/so.. probably thats why its still looking for dlls because of the params.

------------------------------
I have no problems (2nd day of testing) using E+ 2.2b (OpenArena version) on OpenArena 0.8.1 and 0.8.5 (latest stable) running on Win7 Ultimate, SUSE 11.4 and Ubuntu 11.04.
Since OA uses the ioq3 engine, I suggest you use the OpenArena version of E+ and not the Q3 version.

I'm going crazy, with i386 version works fine but with x86_64 crash... Anyone of the linux players is using the 64bit version?
i do, but dont have much knowledge about linux conf for quake, so ask specific questions

Freakman, when I launch:
./openarena.i386 +set fs_game excessiveplus
E+ load maps and all is ok.
When I launch:
./openarena.x86_64 +set fs_game excessiveplus
E+ crash when I try load a map:

With E+ v2.1 all is ok with 32 and 64 bit openarena versions.
Edit: I solved the problem using openarena.x86_64 compiled in Arch linux repo.
Main concern for me is that players are getting kicked as they dont have 2.2b
Im seriously thinking of moving back to 1.03 , the last decent version
this also happend when switching from 1.03 to 2.0a , till beast changed it
so that other versions could join servers aswell
2.2a seemed ok , 2.2b , i cant hit a thing , just feels laggy as hell , maybe its just me , i dont know
does xp_legacy cvar not allow for older vers compatibility?
