been testing some x264 settings and this is kinda the quality of around 1.5mb ~sec.
good enough or do i need to retest some stuff? (ps: there is difference in gamma between vlc and other plays such as windows media player classic. - colors also will be fixed later, its more about artifacts)

yeah nice quality, but you have to upload it to utube caz there it will be looking different, also would be nice to know what settings did u use in mme and in megui.

upload a 60 fps clip to youtube? you are kidding me!
this is not supposed to be a youtube clip, in fact, i doubt it ever will be on youtube, its a test compression for a whole standalone mp4 movie (basically i would prefer avi but it doesnt change the results)
would need to look up megui/x264 settings.

hm whats wrong with 60fps at youtube, however I loaded it for test 
everything looks fine, so give me settings:D

my computer/graphcard couldn't run it, only heard audio and a few images :[, looked great though, I never understood how people have really good quality / look to quake 3 ( other than the new textures packages that make you unpure and come with shitty sounds ).
The liver is evil... It must be punished...

@fps: youtube caps stuff down to 30 fps, and a recompression would ofc cause artefacts, for youtube best quality is raw/huff avi and not precompressed h264.
@i9: tried other players? there will be a hq h264 version (prolly with same or diff resolution, but 50 fps instead of 60) and a mq version with xvid coded (either at 50 or 30 fps)
