Mina i guess many know about Chechynya situation long time...but no one starts to handle because no one wants to get angry with russia...it's like with china and tibet..
yeah, you're absolutely right...in a huge politics ther's no place for sentiments - as Churchill said. Nazi Death Camps and mainly all holocaust was only side effect of IIww and nobody care about that. Everybody knew but did nothing. That's sad.
The question is what realistic choice we had in that situation...we were in breach of our neutrality that's for sure (with both our Permittent traffic and the signals intelligence we provided the Allies with) but I still belive we were put to better use as a safe haven amidst all the fighting, rather than a part in the conflict.
