there's this story about this russian cruis ship, and somewhere abroad, they were docked, ready to move on to next port...

Well anyhoo, there was this currency changer dude, who goes from foreign ship to another in that port, 2 of the crew had this dude in their cabin/room on the ship, trying to change roubles into dollars... then he goes "i dont cahnge roubles, i only cahnge our national currency into dollars or deutschmarks or swedish kröna (thhis was in the CCCP/USSR 1970's , so they accidentaly strangle him cos of more fucked up shit, and in the end the whole crew evenb the navigator and the captain are invloved, and when they all go back to St Petersbur, one of the craw talks to his wife, and she goes: you can still go to the police/Milicia, repent yourself, by admititng your crime, and then your sentence can be decreased cos you admitted it on your own...

Anyway, his crew all deny this whole thing, the honest one is locked away in a psychiactric hospital, to avoid an international sv=candal, moscow investigates, in the end the whole crew is dis-persed, our hero becomes an alcoholic slash beggar, cos his wife was ready to be married to an honest criminal, not an admitted pysopath, the crew are all on the river volga, hating the dude, and he ends up a beggar alcoholic...

The actual story in a much more intellectual book by sergei dovlatov (Сергей Довлатов) is much more intellectual, as well as this story which is much more easier to explain in our native lnaguage, but the moral is the same... happiness is a virtue, and it depends in how much you are willing to rik it all for a clean soul, and real life is unlike a fairytale, so failure to risk your and other's happiness might be better than full redemption followed by a complete fuck up

k i guess instead of making a smart-ass comment maybe i should try something constructive for once heh. anyways just wanted to say, honesty cuts both ways. well actually it cuts lots of ways. . but u can sum it all up in being honest with urself. all this conundrum of - o shit i got drunk and had sex with this woman whose name i dont even remember, now do i wreck my relationship with my wife/gf just cos of this random event?. i guess the question u need to ask urself in that event is just what precisely does ur gf mean to you, and more importantly where does sex, random or otherwise, get in the picture in that context.

then again thats all theory. considering that this has never happened to me and probly never will (first cos i dont drink, nor drugs or whatever so if i do cheat it would probly be with full intention, second cos i dont really think of sex as a pure physical act, so i dont see myself being polygamous ), its all probly valueless theory heh.

in czech language are boys like you called "sukničkář". I dont like them. If you think that sex behind your gf is fun, you are very simple... i think you dont love your gf if youre doing this.
