as it can be real?
this wont help you, it will give you the feeling as you are not 'walking' but 'sliding' on the ground, thats why this cmd was only used while recording an demo.

sorry, I wanted to ask about setting g_syncronousclients 1, not about g_synchronousclients
There is no difference between g_syncronousClients
and g_synchronousClients
, except that the first variable doesn't exist any longer. It was a typo and had been fixed with PointRelease 1.27 I think. And don't use this variable in the game! It's only useful when recording a demo.
Yes, I am 100% sure. If you still have it in your q3config.cfg then this is just a leftover from the older game version. You can safely delete all occurrences of g_syncronousClients
in all of your configs.
Yes I believe you, but I bet you used
g_synchronousClients "1"
, but not
g_syncronousClients "1"
.
Note the difference!
Those analphabets at id software had a misspelled variable in an older version of the game. If g_syncronousClients "1"
has an effect to your game and you are absolutely certain that you are running the latest version of Quake III Arena (v1.32c) then you are the Wizard from Ukraine.
Hi q3fan,
What Bozo is trying to tell you is that the older command g_syncroniousClients doesn't exists anymore. It is not recognized anymore therefore has no effects at all:
sorry, I wanted to ask about setting g_syncronousclients 1, not about g_synchronousclients
edit:
if g_synchronousclients "1" weapons constantly switches as crazy
