Shell I would explain what I think about this subject but in polish - i english its too hard for me I will just say: You cannot control and influence on luck - but You can calculate it to a high degree.

well it depends
if you mean what are the chances of me going into this room with my eyes closed and randomly hitting a person you COULD in theory calculate that somehow however it would be really rediculous and pointless

however you can't calculate how lucky you will get per game ie will this guy run into my BFG randomly?
will he randomly walk into the room while my cursor is there and step right when i click?

in THEORY you can calculate any kind of luck (lets leave this at Q3 for now) but depending on WHICH kind of luck you are trying to calculate is where it all differs a lot
obviously EACH answer will be a very large and random number depending on how big the map and how you wish to achieve this luck (ie attempting to aim, how big the map is, with sight or without, sound, hit box), etc
i would say ping is one of the only things you shouldn't bother putting into the equation because if it's luck(random) you wouldn't really be worrying about ping now would you?
it's hard to say what to calculate just because everything is very different so some things matter for this, some things matter for that, etc

if i had to give a general answer
you should have more luck(if that's even true) on a small map than large map but not limited to because everything changes and there are so many different factors to account for

now i may be contradicting myself but i believe luck is nothing but randomness
you can probably get a number but it will NEVER be accurate/the same number as for every player is different and reacts differently

so back to my question, why should it matter? by time you calculate it (if ever possible) and write down all the thousands/millions(billions?) of place holders it would be over so imo you'd be better off trying to find out a cure for cancer
