What are those "warnings"?

My deepest excuses to RSQT for asking a match again, even if he didn't use it during the fw.

And where do you think people like Skull or server admins get their information on how cheats work? Clairvoyance? Don't be so naive, they download and test cheats to keep ahead of the curve. THIS is the fact.

Tanaka's fault for not keeping his client clean. Doesn't make him a cheater.

I wonder what it would be if Skull (for example) was in the same situation?
forgot to clean up, accidentally caught.
On the one hand, explaining that it was necessary for the administration and so on. it seems plausible. (considering its position in the community).
On the other hand, I think it would be mixed with the shit.
is happening now with Tanaka.
maybe enough warning for him. not for me to decide I just express my opinion.
punishment should be inevitable. next time will be more attentive.

Skull is nothing personal.

then people would know it isnt me, because i do not forgett to clean up.

besides that, someone linked a tutorial to test cheats localserver without getting caught.

Re: Cheater Report Discussion

I need to strike a blow for tanaka. Seriously, i tested more than 20 cheats (before i switched to 1.32) just to be able to detect them, since 1.11 - 1.30 have no Punkbuster (never played 1.31). Except noghost there was no anticheat below 1.32 (noghost just exists seriously in 1.16).

Ofc, i never was that stupid to test them public and ofc i was not so stupid to test it on the same Q3 as i played public (was a separate own install).

But what the fuck, tanaka had never a suspective gameplay, nore he was suddenly better than before. Somehow I beliebe his story (nonetheless his cheat-DL-topic).

So, people, get some balls and just put once some trust in somebody. Yet there is no proof of an active cheat, just that he owns one.

I did not catch so many cheaters (more than skull, but before 1.32) because i did not know how they work, i catched them because i knew how they work, and how i did? I tested them.

Compare it to reallife. You can't catch many thiefs if u don't know how they work, thats why some detectives test things, ofc not in real stores if they are not involved, but they test it. So, lets imagine they forgott to give back an item, is a truly a thief? Well, think about the rule "Benefit of the doubt".

Or let's simply call the staff of Evenbalance.com all "Cheaters".

Give him a yellow card or whatever, but this is going even for me too far.

Re: Cheater Report Discussion

Ok, it's gonna be hard for me to express myself Tongue Actually i have usually no tolerance at all on cheaters, but today it's one of my well know teammate who has been "caught"
Nevertheless since i know tanaka pretty well, i'm sure he is telling the truth regarding why he had this cheats somewhere and so he is not a real cheater (by cheater i mean someone who downloaded cheats to fight on fw/cw/public in purpose of winning). Thought, i understand that people who don't know him can doubt and even can't believe what he says and could consider him by fact as a cheater. Personnaly i have never tried any kind of cheats but i understand some want to know more about cheat and how it works in purpose of being able to catch those who use cheats on public server and understand some bans who has been given while PB did not detect anything.
If i understood well, tanaka has been ban cause he had a piece of hack on his computer and did not erase it totally after running his tests (and hack has been tested on private server) and not because he had an active cheat running . imo tanaka is not a cheater. I can understand he has a warning and even a yellow card as penalization but since i know him, and im sure he did not want to cheat beut wanted to learn a bit more about cheatsand how they work. red card is definitely too hard for me...
Well my opinion is ofc based on the fact that i know tanaka pretty well and i know his thought considering cheat/cheaters, and if something similar happens to someone i don't know, my opinion might be really different. So i can understand why people want a high penality.

Tanaka, well what to say, a little bit stupid (no offence), but not quilty, cheat wasnt active at the moment of kick/ban.

Ok, now lets find out who this turn on anticheat faggot is.

Ip: 77.178.229.230

Guid: 364BC77A2F3387FC71FA73FBC0C3772B

http://aim-plus.net/r2/pub/themes/bismarck/playerstat.php?playerID=364BC77A2F3387FC71FA73FBC0C3772B&config=cfg-default.php

only player with that guid, ip is a proxy or something else maybe?

edit: the thing with r2 server was that eh talked about r2 config being better then era config if I remember right.

other candidates (with higher chance of being it)

http://aim-plus.net/aimfreeze/pub/themes/bismarck/playerstat.php?playerID=33C8B9FAA8EF67EDF0AB1E4A82BF4171&config=cfg-default.php

http://aim-plus.net/aimfreeze/pub/themes/bismarck/playerstat.php?playerID=6AD4A4FEB12935E5AB3F01E954039C39&config=cfg-default.php

Imo it is killer, noone else has the interest to call era staff cheater supporters. And he also has the knowledge to actually be clever enough to change his cdkey for that, normal noobs wont.

EDIT: This also shows how much more precise vsp tracks down players compared to 2.2b backdoor, hahahahah.
