Big grin about what u r talking ?

1.strafe-jumps ( strafe-run )
2.side step

U calling both as strafe, but is different. Really u can aim with side step, but u can't aim with strafe-jumps.

U can, just hold strafing, making a speedbreak, and just go on after frag with not losing spead, pretty simple.

and i cant agree that strafing is senseless in xp, it has just a lower value for using it.

a side step is not a strafe. as long as the direction in which ur mouse is pointing while executing a strafe is not the same direction in which u need to aim, aiming and strafing cannot be done simultaneously. but u can aim and not loose speed. thats what counts. (in other words, how much perturbation can the mouse make and not loose the strafing rythm)

pretty simple? damn mow. u just called an art pretty simple. yea right painting is pretty simple too. it's just spreading paint on a piece of paper or whatever in peculiar patterns that u want. (not talking about e+ cos theres not much point in strafing in e+ anyway. try strafing and aiming consistently in cpma. ull find u cant do it. cos one shot kills dont happen often in cpma. u need to stop finish the frag and then start again. unless u got lucky, or u wanna run away)

I find that strafe jumping helps cuz i use really low sens and nad jumps are a bit of a pain (hudge movement of hand) so w/ multi jump and starfe jumping, it can move fairly allright without starining my arm muscles and still staying quite accurate (still bump in the side of doors but less than before).
