IMO we dont need complicated rules...

we just need to set ground rules such as

no spamming, no f***ing about and no whining about camping
and treat others like you wish to be treated

Honestly, I LIKE the idea of keeping to an english language. I mean, Even if they can't, there should be a translator, someone to spell it out for us. it's just as easy to be rude or viciously spread rumors in polish and german as in english.
Secondly, I DON'T agree with signature restrictions. If you can create it, flaunt it. One's signature is a reflection of personality and creativity and should be allowed to be expressed in any way one desires, as long as it isn't blatantly OFFENSIVE or DISRUPTIVE. In other words, let 'em have that space, they're E+'s peeps, they should have that privelage.

That's my two cents, and I hope they count for something. If I think of anything more, I'll add.

New General Forum Mods....? Perhaps, if people vote on it; would work well ensuring proposed forum rules are abided.

Mods must be clan leaders though, and have no moderation over other forums except their own.

We really need spam rules. But we should also write something to the rules like "no (child)porn posts, no warez, no copyright abusing posts etc..." so we have something like a disclaimer... Then we should think about a punishment system. Many people post on every forum they can just to get more posts and the content of their posts is "bla" so they should get warned/locked for those spam by mods/admin.

To me there are 3 main areas which need tighter restrictions
1, As it all ready mentions in the rules is no spamming ie 1 word threads etc.
2, Sigs with naked women/men.
3, Offensive sigs for example (only an example Bodz) severed body parts.

Lots of you will say to me about points 2 and 3 that I may be taking this too far or I am being too prudish, but I think we have to remember this is after all a games forum and lots of kids will visit this site, and at the end of the day this is not the place for porn etc. There is a saying that goes There is a time and place for everything, and this is not the place for points 2 and 3.
Off course it would be differant if this was a forum for over 21 year olds and was not anything to do with games then off course the rules would be a lot differant Winking

but as u can see i have a naked woman in my sig, which is in no way offensive or even porn. its just a nice picture of a beautiful woman which doesnt go too far. so imo u cant say "no nude women". And not to be sexistic: what about nude men? Big grin
