The idea is to stop the deleting of posts.... If anyone does that for their own personal gain or for a unfair reason they will be demoted or or something. The only way this can all happen is to have more then one person so there is more then one opinion. Its not to create a secret team or anything like that I dont think he ment secret at all. Just think he ment people can report stuff without having to post it. It is to hold each other accountable, even admins so things are fair to all.

With that said, anyone involved in a situation where they see something deleted by a MOD or Admin that shouldnt have been deleted or was unfair... then Speak up.
If need be PM more then one admin or MOD

i posted this already somewhere else but that was lost in a flame thread. i really dont see why people seem to be making such a big deal of a mods ability to delete/edit posts. if u really have a problem with it theres an easy alternative, whenever u see a post that breaks the rules, edit it and cut out the offensive contents and trash those parts, and make it clear in the post that this was edited for such and such a reason and that the edited parts can be viewed in the trashcan.

once again, i think ur overthinking this, the mods job is really not all that complicated and the current mod team is perfectly capable of doing it. the only real problem i see is the tendency some mods seem to have of making public statements about stuff they do. if u look at the rena fiasco ull see what i mean. making stupid statements like - we have our reasons for banning him but we wont divulge it, is asking for trouble. any half intelligent person would obviously question such a statement. as long as u avoid stuff like this i really dont see why u need a mod oversight committee. imo the more the merrier doesnt really apply well as a rule when it comes to administration jobs.
