a regular consumer's of any psycoactive substance including alcool can have serious malfunctions.
imo all of this is not really bad. the correct frequency is the solution.

Well, there is only one thing with life i can mention - do as the way you feel you have to, keep the balance thats all

I can only reply myself, i don't have any problems with drugs, alcohol etc. I stopped smoking weed cos it made my brain lagged and wanted to change some things around me... (i used to drink alcohol like 1-2 times per month, and smoked weed for 7 years, @10 gramms per week)
And see, check my playing moral etc, the difference is real 
There is no formula for living the life, you have to choose the way! Every day, every moment. As normal it happens by itself, without control. But if sth shit with you, check the self-mirror, subjective and find the roots of the shit feeling.
Happiness is the state of mind people try to reach, keep and grade into higher states. Choose the way of it!
