You are right about this, national cups don't have so much to do with rankings.. In the end the winner will always be the winner from the finals. And the ranking ratings are just fun stats for national teams.
Considering the national cups are mostly played once per year or once per 2 year .. the teams probably wont have the same players, therefor the ratings are not so important. But the stats on wins losses who played with who are nice to have for history stats.
This is my opinion.
Bare in mind that the brackets and the finalist positions are not shown in rankings (shown only the forum event page - here - ). All ranked games are seen as League games not cup games, where all games are equal as importance .

yhm, you mean instagib (definition above) or railonly? because you know that these are two different meanings? i'm going to that here are some people, which doesn't like that style (analMania etc), additionally we have really good 'instagib' players on ng mod.. fuck yeah, it's a problem omg... you know what i mean.. eh

u aint good on railonly either xd u should create a team of stubborn loudmouths. Also good idea would be to lock this topic untill fps, fate and sp decide about it. I personaly would put a warning or yellow card on diablo for making all this mess.

ohh it will be hard to separate rail-only board definition from ig/ng sloow rail style, there is to much configs varies in e+ to make that sucessful i think
