I do see the problem. BUT if you are stupid enough to pic a nickname like that you got to live with ppl "stealing" it.

I noticed only two, one ME:D, and another one from russia with red nick. When I started playing q3 I had red nick Wicked, and heard that here is the same one nick in e+. so I added [pl] to my nick, and there was no more probs. And the other one didn't mind.

agreed, thats a problem, there are enough words in languages to pick some unique nickname and start gaining respect Tongue

but there are some exeptions as Wickeds lol (never saw 3rd from Ger) but both from Russia and from Poland are my friends and no probs coz they using it soooo long.

when i'm playing and some noob connecting with wellknown nickname i just say to him that this nick already occupied in this community and ask him to change it, and usually they understand and change Happy

Imho, its not fine if someone have nick the same as your. But "toxic" is popular world, so is very possible to someone more have it.

It's better to get some nick, which havnt got noone, and it isn't normal world (for example Oskaliber Big grin)
