Yeah, just press shoot again (and you are right, it works).

BUT:
For more than 50 euro I simply don't want to press shoot again. Maybe I've set a standard who is too high, but imo such a mouse should be able too work like I've expected it. Evil

[code:1]In your case i'd try to decrease the rate to usb-default (125hz) and check if the problem still remains.. I guess that should be possible with the Logitech drivers, since the g5 normally has a rate of 500hz (or? Smug) .[/code:1]

No, standard rate is 400hz. There are five possibilities to define your rate, but lowest is 400hz. If I'm wrong pls correct me.
Decreasing the usb rate would lead to an slower data transfer. I'm working with two external drives, so this is definetely no option.

i have same mouse same prob, but just press one time firebutton and its fine.

anyone of u know that the mouserate.exe that someone post here (HQ) Winking had spyware or was a trojaner on it, if u dont know it delete it but the prob will be not fixed.

it wasnt trojan/spyshit just heuristic analys or some dumb 'antivir' thinks so because it modyfing windows driver, so dont worry Smug

btw i've that 'problem' also (mx510/usb poll 1khz with default poll it was same) but it happening only once per month or so Smug
