After uninstalling and reinstalling GTk radiant it seems to be working fine now, I uninstalled some other unused programs along with it, so I suppose that might have helped to. If anyone else may encounter this problem, maybe it needs a good ol restart

Ok, finally I am getting ready to create the pk3. As reading from bubbas website... I need levelshots, maps, scripts, sounds, (which I haven't added so not needed I think) and textures. It says inside of the baseq3 folder is all I need, but the following I have question on:
Levelshots - Does it have to be a specific size? I realize it must be .jpg
Maps - Says I need the .bsp which I have, and the .ass file that I cannot find anywhere.
Scripts - Says I need the .arena file, cannot find that either
Sounds - No help needed
Textures - Do I just copy the folder from c:\Programs\Quake III Arena\BaseQ3/textures or use the only added textures that I used that do no reside in the GTK radiant files.
And after all that I was wondering if I could get a copy of the pakscape or any other zipper like that because for the fileplanet download you must be a member and I dont feel like paying for it, the free version doesnt work. If any or all of these can be answered that would be great thanks

Which should I use for final compilation?
*note* how long will it also take?
After doing a small compile Im noticing that when I launch the map it still isnt showing the level shot that I made. It is a jpg and its inside of the pk3 file under its own folder as suggested.

I've just gotten the bounce 8 one completed, created the .pk3 and still no level shot is showing up, the map works perfectly and the lighting and all else is great, whats goin on?

Edited the image inside of Psp 10 to a .tga file adn it works now. I suppose an even easier way would be to instead of taking a screenshotjpeg is to just take a screenshot and it will create the tga file

I'm pleased to announce to say, FINALLY! I have my map completed :!: I'm still considering if I should sent it out to anyone, in my opinion after all I have learned I know I can do better. Thanks sota and sun*mon for taking my offer of hosting the map, I will let you know later to use this one or if Im going to create another one. And thanks Oldvamp too you've been a great help. Please though, keep an eye out on this topic, I still may have future questions

I can congratulate us all. Our cheater has successfully evolved and changes the model data, snaps, cl_maxPackets, rate and other things. But he won't be able to change everything.

I dont get it I have 40 gb free left on my drive that quake III arena is on, and the C:\ directory has 20gb left free, my ram is fully funtional (1gb) and no other programs are running when I use Radiant, Im thinking maybe an uninstall - reinstall?
