Anyway, I'm not much of a believer too(I support the scientific thesis/explanations of the things), though I like the customs, family gatherings and the atmosphere in general. It's kinda pleasant and warm, people are feeling closer to each other. People are slaves to their own triviality, daily problems, constant rushing etc etc. Whether someone believe in it or not, the power of Christmas sets the whole daily routine aside for one day at least and brings people together. It is one of those moments you do not need to think over and question it over and over again, but simply feel it
"...War brings death... and wounds and pain to both sides... there's nothing harder to accept than the deaths of those you love... so you believe... they could never die... especially those who haven't known war... you try to find meaning in death... but... there's only pain... and hatred... that you don't know what to do with...dying like trash... neverending hatred... pain that never heals... that.. is war..."
