I play with r_gamma 4 sometimes 3.50, how do you see anything there?

cause there is more then one command that effects the brightness of your picture!

have you ever tried turning up the brightness on your monitor manually alex?

look under the rectangle bit of your screen. it might be a big circle thing, or lots of buttons, or in a compartment where you press to open to show all the buttons.

with gamma up to 4, dont all the colours get washed out? bleh.

Youre kidding Alex - when i used to play with dark models i had r_gamma 1,7, and thats really fucking bright.
My other settings are default.

hah? i play r_gamma 1 or 1.2 & my map not so dark. may eyes not die soon=)
