Monitor / Screen
i have the samsung p2450 and the hd5770 win 7 x64 so pretty much the same setup do you have magictune premium installed on mine i had to go to settings of magic tune and goto image size and select (screen fit) then back to ati settings and set overscan to 0%. i havent tried hdmi to dvi so unsure how this cable works for settings but it might be worth the try aswell to use the hdmi to hdmi if you have the spare cable to try.
you know, dvi-to-dvi cable might not be enough for, say, 75 Hz frequency (i experienced this). so maybe it's worth trying hdmi-to-hdmi cable?
thats interesting, i learnt recently 120hz monitor (lcd) using dvi cable requires a connector with dual lanes, the dvi cable looks same as any other, only it includes more pins etc. though ofc this would be supplied with your monitor, so problem could occur if you use one you already have laying around, that is only single lane.

not that realted, but interesting.
