Long time passed since i did my first video review of mouse. Here I have good mouse to be reviewed and compared with Abyssus 2014 Happy Sorz, but I still don't have a good camera and better recording place : P

Some photos and max speed test of 2 swipes on x axis of mousepad: left and right

Think it's about time I use a gaming mouse..

Anyway, what is your favourite mouse?

It's good times to get a modern mouse nowadays, companies competing, so they will drop prices on mice, using Avago 3310 (back in 2013 zowie fk with a slower Avago 3090 sensor was 50 GBP, kinda high, that's why sometimes i buy customer returned mouse, which is usually in perfect condition, and you still can return it Big grin ), which is getting more and more popular now and is slightly behind logitech and Avago 3366 and is very good for aiming in cs and q3 and doesn't hold you back at all, once they don't have such bugs like recalibration on certain mousepads like Sica does, whereas Zowie FK2 with 3310 has not such stuff.

Talking about your question, i do have favourites and main drivers these days. Main drivers are G502 and Gladius from Asus

(both are 121 grams, but I modded logi mouse to 113~), which fortunately doesn't have any cursor bugs, sweet, and shape reminds me DA13 and IE3. Gladius sensor 3988 works like 3888 of Abyssus but with lower than 4 CDs lift off distance (height of 1-2 CDs~) thankfully : d , tech specs are better than 3310, but well, tried both 3310 and 3988 and I enjoy their performance much. I still favouritize IE3 sensor's snappy, raw performance before it's reaching max tracking speed and Abyssus 2014 shape, man, I can grip very well and not hit mouse2 in game accidently, perfection!

I think i found life purpose - review every single interesting mouse in the market with great specs, turn my soul into mouse, and then die, :-V

Hahaha I played most of my time here with a 5€ Logitech and was able to kick some asses Happy

To start with, I would probably try either a Roccat-Steelseries-Razer or Logitech. Currently using a Logitech 500s and I'm quite happy with it. First two brands are a little cheaper and provide good quality. If you got some money to spend then go Microsoft IntelliMouse for sure Tongue

Good review UFO btw Happy

I am disappointed by newer mice, mostly because of that crappy a-9500 sensor.
My problem is pretty specific though, I beat over 3.5 m/s while gaming so...

Maybe Zowie ZA series to try? Similar ass and width + sensor capable of 5m/s or maybe more. : P Haven't tested myself, though they are putting the same flawless 3310 sensor from FK and EC-A series, and i am sure a lot of will be very happy about tracking, mostly nagging the shape, was doing research on ZAs, coating is good on ZAs, still same stiff huano switches, perfect rubber flexible cable from FKs, 24 notch scroll wheel. Btw i love sensei raw and 9500 for it's inbuilt acceleration for using just rarely actually, i am able to get weirdest shots while being in chaos mode with it, pulling it out from a drawer from time to time just to test it in Beer freezer :- )

Well even if there are modern mice with max speed 5-8 metres/s, you are to expect some weird cursor behaviours, like skipping/jumping/recalibrating with some of them on certain mouse mats :V

Thanks man! I'll try do shorter reviews and more prepared, the first two were more on the flow, i might have added some info too much, when you could check yourself in the description link, or added too little about other areas.

Talking about ZA13, i can't tell much, until i got myself, but i am not planning to get any of ZA11-12-13 right now, unless one will appear randomly on resale as used. My FK2 (&FK2013) = 85g, and ZA13 = 80g, the latter has higher ass, so i assume it will fill your palm better than FK2, and will be more suitable for palm gripping, i tend to grip FK2 using claw grip style mainly + palm sometimes, though it doesn't fill my palm fully. Kinda loving FK2 right now with possibility to use hybrid palm style, i don't like to stay with one grip style all the time. I'd say if you tried FK series and you liked it, there is no need to upgrade, their tracking is bug free and close to perfection, build is very sturdy, and stiff slower huano switches are not a problem at all, makes you spam less, rail more, was testing it all evening yesterday, 60 eff on avg with some ups and downs: http://min.us/mbht1coYWTJ6bu well pub is meh, but anyway, not bots (maybe some of them) sorry .D

Thanks again! If you got money go for sensor + build + shape + customer support : P The rest things you can overcome. Logitech support is one of more respectable of what i heard. Asus did hear people shouting about high button click latency on Sica (22ms~), and they finaly have a firmware for customers reducing it to 12ms~, people say it's imperceptible now. Where SS Ikari optical huge damn squirrel is having 0 ms. G502 also having a very low click latency.

G500s looks slightly similar to G502 according to shape, but the right side on G502 is much more welcome for me, super comfy for ring and pinky fingers. And also laser inside g500s, well i'd still better stay 95% of the time with optics, even if they reduced positive accel to minimum, what means it still has possitive lag : ]

Is this true, Nether? Found some facts about laser-ass g500s.

Quoting one guy Grimster from oc.net:

"1. The g500s mouse produces the worst lag I have ever seen on a mouse
and so far EVERY user who has purchased this has stated so. The
"professional" review sites are tools for Logitechs marketing machine.

2. The g500s mouse STILL uses the awful ceramic capacitor which produce
whining noise. No firmware will fix this since its a hardware issue. If
you CAN replace the capacitor with a poly cap to remove the noise but
that voids your warranty and you need to take it apart, solder, ect.

3. Scroll wheel is still too easy to move in "click mode". Not very good
for gaming but nice for scrolling webpages so this is subjective if its
a pro or con. Being a gaming mouse they should have made a stiffer
"click mode" on the wheel."

"The 8200dpi sensor in the g500s uses the same defective firmware as the g600" it's from 2013." What : V

Is g500s better with newer firmware updates?
