MVD demo can allow spec to freefly in cw
mute and ignore have the same effect, what makes you believe it is better, because of less letters?
no, he said mute coz will be effective for every spec directly, ignore should be used from every single player, he said a good thing but, im thinkin of another thing, there should be like an option where we can set for example, spec writing will be shown for spec ppl only, coz if i mute them nobody can talk, what i mean is that while they talk in spec we players must not see theyr writing, they could use say_team but ofc many of them doesn't use that or don't care, there should be a command like xp_noprintspc 1 for example, so theyr writing will be shown only to spec ppl and they can talk between them without bother playing ppl, mute won't be good coz they can't talk, ignore is for 1 person only and i think that both clans mustn't read spec, noprint u can't read anything...so i think that command would be good for this..who knows, maybe this could be an idea of a future command in a next version of e+. bah maybe im takin it too serious lol nvm
The client usage of mute is the same as the client usage of ignore. rcon usage is something different, but that was not asked, actually.
/mute id, mute name, mute all, mute spec etc
/ignore id, ignore name, ignore all, ignore spec etc.
xp_muteSpectators xp_muteSpectators "0": Allows you to mute all spectators. They still can talk with other spectators but the in-game players won't see it. Referees are not affected by this setting.
If u mean this i really suggest you to read the documentation urgently before requesting new commands.
but when u record a mvd doesnt appear the circle instead of the flag? only when u have rcon/ref?or anytime?
anytime
then the problem is solved, u see the guy who records, so if someone beside the ref records, u can kick him bcuz u can see the circle

than maybe this problem should be solved, so everyone who record a mvd must have instead of the flag that circle, doesnt matter on what server, should be included in the mod, and this would be the easiest way to see who records, and on fws/cws who record beside the ref
spec writing will be shown for spec ppl only
then you must remove the chatting bind:
seta bind x "messagemodexp 2"
and make it
seta bind x "say_spec"
that would be the only solution, BUT ! every single player must do that or it must become standard in new release wich i dont see hapening

This command is not in the onsite documentation, or at least i couldnt find it. I had always thought this was a server side command.
I am sure its probably in the readme, but i reckon only 5-10% of people will actualy read him, me being in the 90-95% demographic.
does \mute only work for specific id's? i mean can you \mute all or \ignore all in the same way you can \kick all?
mute/ignore all // mute/ignore ID // mute/ignore name etc...
and i copy pasted this command from the onsite documentation.
mute and ignore, client sided are valid for the single client who uses that command, i was looking for a command that affects all in-game players, 1 client put the command and it works for all in-game clients, ofc used as ref/rcon command.
yes "xp_mutespec" is exactly what i was lookin for, well if i have to read all the documentation just for see if there is " 1 " command that i don't even know if there is or not looks like i go at driving school and then after some time i ask someone what's that signal n he tells me to come back take the license again for know what means that signal..." this " is the reason of "forums", "community", "blogs" and "threads" etc.. what better way to make a public ask of something where someone that knows more than u can give u an answer? ofc i didn't requested for any command, i just said that if there is no command for what i wanted, that could be a good idea of a future implementation, coz "i didn't knew" if there was or not this command. thx for the answer and ur time
