hey all ,
at first thank you for your answers! 
iam thinking about the teflon pads that i could buy for my mx518 ...does it make a big difference or not ....they price is between 6 and 10 ( € )

they will offer u defeniltly the best gliding, but if ur hand sweeting it might be a problem, also thier life is not long, check thunder series of polimer pads dont remember atm company witch making it, they arent expensive and realy nice

i'd recommend the Steelpad 5L pad. Its good quality and its long lasting . I found the QCK too slippery personally

my steelpad stopped slipping nicely because its old now, but Xeno told me that you can wash the pad to remove the dirt and stuff you cant see. I washed it with some soft soap and it feels so much better. try it

well, it was about pads under mouse and not mousepad
to be serius, we got expirience in washing it, but i never tried any soap, i dont care anyways, as long as the whole surface lost its slippery its still ok to play with.
back to the soap, how u exactly did it?

For cloth pads best is mild or medium temperature water and a mild shampoo,maybe baby shampoo is best since they mostly contain no additives.Wash using your hand only.

i use the razer mantis control pad combined with the mx518 and its pretty nice i gotta say but i didnt test any other pad xD

mx 518 + Steel 5L it's good option and you don't need padsurfer. My frugally postion.
But it's you must faund your best option.

hm.. i use a mx-510 veryold 1 and mousepad :havent 
play on naked tabel... i must say better like with any mousepad

i already have a steelpad 5l 
i just asked cause someone bought them and said wow they are really nice ( glyding) and perfekt for gamin
