new pads for mx518 ?
For cloth pads best is mild or medium temperature water and a mild shampoo, maybe baby shampoo is best since they mostly contain no additives.Wash using your hand only.
yeah exactly, but i used a cloth not my hand.
Wet the pad surface with warm water. The pad soaks up a lot of water, then i used some mild washing up liquid on a small soft cloth and rubbed it into the pad "gently" until it was soapy all around, because the dirt stays inside the pad otherwise. then i rinsed the pad with lots of cold water. I used a big towel to soak up all the water from the pad and leave it to dry for a while after.
try it man, honestly it works and feels like im using a new pad now.
It does work,Im only not sure about using cold water for rinsing.HQ could explain this, hes a cloth fabrics expert
I guess it depends on type of cloth, cause different cloth pads have different surfaces, for exmaple I killed my qck+ with hot water but razer mantis speed took hot water pretty well.Altho I dont recommend it,mild water is the safest.
i killed my QCK also with hot water i have tried cold water 2-3 times over the last 1 year. its seems ok. Yes lets ask the "cloth master"
new steelpad 5L + skates is a fucking dream. trust me. i tried this setup with and without skates and for me it's epic win and it's bs that skates dont last long, at least on cloth....its when u have them on plastic/glass it wears them away fast...however...theres something to say for a little bit of friction...too smooth can affect ur gameplay too much sometimes (ofc u can edit cfg to get the best out of it but tbh i cba with this @cfg shit )
what do u think about stell 5l for razer mouses?
Dunno about 5l, but got QCK with Diamondback and it's really nice.
@Topic - If you got 5l already, I don't think it's any sens to change it
