ASD told me about it like a month ago, but I couldn't be fucked and it's too late to sign up (+ we're in a state of CBA and are already playing in a novelty/"for fun gametype" cup - but in CA though and cba entering another one). + we only ever intended in playing one cup, and players like rehe or funnyb or pavlik won't be back anyway, and I am not interested in excessiveplus anymore either.
I'd be lying if I said that my experience dealing with those guys who organised the previous OSRC wasn't a factor, but it was a minor one - just a bad aftertaste (those guys afaik are not involved in the organisation of this cup, but the main problem is that p4l wasn't really challenged in the cup - even after I invited that mediocre Russian dude for reasons I don't even know myself, we still didn't lose :ASDF, so like 100% win rate after 2 OSRC cups innit bludd and the state of competition isn't really exciting or fun here).
However, this cup is not the previous one, and is only same in name. Asphyx is an experienced organiser that I respect and I wish him a smooth cup and I also wish luck to all the participants.
