yeah thats the trouble wih sharing cdkeys - hense the reason for being able to look them up in bans text and removing line with guid.
each way is just as good - i have heard there is also a way to add ip to the q3 master server and globaly ban on ALL servers anyone know more about this. . .? i am not sure of the validity of this - it might work with ingame browser only.

so..if you dont have an original cd key the guid ban bans 'innocent' people? so it should seeing as they illegally downloaded it anyway...there you go solved all your problems Big grin

nah man - old arguement - some people do not want to pay for their copy of q3 and some people cant (because of country they live in) some goverments are not as liberal as we are in UK and the ONLY way they can get to play this great game is through ripping it off the net.
but true there are some who are to miserly to pay for a copy.
looks like price of q3 is rising as well . . .

PB doesnt lie man, you can use the excuse of i ddint know it was there, but PB woould only pic it up if it was active on your pc, meaning in a folder required for it to work or actually running.

so you were either 1 button away from cheating or cheating

i kno it dont lie, but like i said, i asked my sis to boot my quake up for me while i was doing smth, and she must have booted it up with smth, but ive checked all my quake and non-quake folders and deletd anythin supsisious...
