Problem with mouse left click! Please help!
Hey guys. Found this topic with similar issue, so here's my question. In short, does this mean that I'll have to buy a new mouse? I noticed it several days ago during random browsing, haven't played Q3 since due to obvious reasons, and just few mins ago I found this tester, tried it and the results are these:
So?
Hey guys. Several days ago I noticed similar problem with my mouse during browsing, happening occasionally. I am talking about MB1, with my MB2 double clicking for a while now but it is my jumping button, so except double-jumping by random(which makes damage only to my nerve system) it can't cause any other damage. I haven't played Q3 since then due to obvious reasons . Moments ago, I ran into an online tester, so these are the results:
So, my question is.. does this mean that I'll have to buy a new mouse?

One of the reasons I left the game was because I lost my good mouse, would you send me a new one as a gift? as I read this thread, I was saying to myself.. where has this generous person who gives mouses away as gifts been when I needed one.. but miraculously last post was yours! so?
broken cable maybe?
i can recommend my current mouse logitech g300s. its working exactly how i want + good grip + good software (mouse using own memory so you set i once and for ever)

Same as my G700s, definitly a great mouse

No. That's a mouse click event tester to use on more browsers. If a browser (or the person who made that test) stupid that doesn't mean you need to buy a new mouse.
This page contains a script (made by who? is nothing official) for testing events fired in different browsers (is talking about browser events) when a (real) mouse click occurs.
So it's not a test for your mouse. Its a test for the browser compatibility with your mouse.
If you want to test your mouse you should check a native application (*.exe for windows) created for that.

Tnx epsi and few other for replies and suggestions. However, probably the time has come for a mouse change anyway(my scroll button and my right click buttons were double-clicking for many months now), even if my MB1 would've appeared to be ok after few more tests.
I went to a local store and spent 19Euro on A4 mouse from the bloody series. Still getting used to it, feels nice in the hand, but I have most problems with adjusting the mouse accel, yaw, pitch, sens to my new mouse. But it just takes some time and changes until I meet the perfect balance for my needs. Now my Gigabyte M6800 can sit peacefully on the reserves bench
just follow the sequence, Milena

^^ As I had found out, myself - unfortunately (!), this mouse is (pretty much) trash - expensive trash. I can't understand it, why would they manufacture and sell such a product... After using it for a while (bought new, from the store, ofc.), the mouse-buttons all but stopped functioning - and the mouse is, currently, broken. Gone.
Seems to be a common issue with this model, dunno whether it's representative of their company, Genius, or what... All I know is that I have got Microsoft and Logitech mice which are perfectly functional 20 years later (literally!), meh.
