Yo, I had the same prob. My firewall was allowing the files but still probs. Here is how I fixed it.

1) Put the PBSVC.EXE file in your pb folder and when you run it,

2) Click TEST and it will run through some tests. if it fails (like mine did) then hit reinstall.

There are 2 exe files which need to have access to the internet so allow them access when your firewall asks:

PnkBstrA.exe
PnkBstrB.exe

Try the test again afterwards and it should run through them with no probs

Delete your firewall Rule for the 2 exe files then reinstall PB. It works
