im already advertising e+ forum on ql fan page on fb to those ppl complaining 
but i forgot to say "there u'll find SKULLHEADQ3, the q3 master yoda...but i'll keep that hidden, or nobody comes here lol

yes 10euros too much for a game u play daily or weekly or whatever. go play pirated stuff anyone whos serious about it can afford this price. btw e+ is really a lame random mod for ppl from ql so gl with advertising

Most of players got it for free who had moved on steam in time, and yes 10 usd not much for a game.

On weekend i was testing doom closed alpha... Basically id software will push this game hard, imo they are putting a price on quake live now before doom comes out... They expect that Doon will be the new Multiplayer fps king, I personally liked it a lot. Very similar to quake 4 but better xd nice weapons aswell, powerups ( yes invisibility and quad plus Demon form pwrup) Check out YouTube trailer for doom alpha, u will like it

Unfortunately even on quakecon, ID have said that they don't want to push doom 4 as a competitive game... so again it all lands on community hands and i doubt without developers support it will be possible to get major events going, so i rather see more potential in unreal 4 then in doom 4.

Is there also a subscription service for benefits like a server or something or did they get rid of that?I got my copy free by adding it on steam before this.
So it started as a free to play browser plugin and turned back into a standalone payed for q3. Like what you had before but with less control and DRM, but an active player base and support.
Nice idea, but it's business. thats a shame but this doesn't bother me.

As i told major part of community got it for free and just ones who were late need to buy it.
Also there is no pro/prem subs anymore but more control over servers/cfgs to community, basicly it is a replacement for quake 3 with same dedicated servers but with better hud/options and VAC protection. Already plenty of ift/ictf server hosted and full of players.
You wanted up to date hack protection - here it is.
Definitely no point of going back to q3 at all.
