trick is, that 7600gs has only 128bit ram bus. And 6800 has 256bit. So 6800ultra has more power than 7600gs and from second hand is cheaper

And what GPU does the 6800 have? I know the 3 digits after the series number (800 in this case) reflect the power of the processor. If 800 > 600 (6800 vs 7600) this means that probably the 7600 GPU is also slower than the 6800 GPU. The 256 bit bus sounds quite nice, but did you guys test this on AGP 4x? Normally it should work even though it is designed for AGP 
, but I heard of cases when the video card simply crashed when they were trying to install it on a 4x AGP.
