Teams are just for fun clans are the ones that enter in cup challenges and events.
Also you can have as many teams as you like but you can have only one clan per each config group.
The list of the config groups: (now are active just a few of them)

You can also be in a clan that plays both config groups but that means you cant join other clans after that.

This cup is for Railonly config group as specified in the first post.

in order to join other clan in same config group you must not be in a clan playing the same config group, therefor you must leave the one you're in.

if however you don't do it that is called multiclaning and its punishable by the ranking moderators according to the ranking rules and event rules. This cup will remove a clan from it if someone is multiclaning, so be careful.

To convert your team into a clan you must:
- first tell all this to your members (because you might cause them to get multiclaning punishments).
- contact the team leader to make a request (usually by pm) to an Clandb Admin about the conversion of your team to a clan. See list of Clandb Admins here.
- write in the New Clan members topic which team members became clan members (see examples in the same topic). Be sure to add all the members before the event starts. if you don't they might not be considered in the clan for the events you participate in. And so they might get a delay penalty in the cup (see the first post).

Hmm q3fun how much is the delay penalty for a new member joining after the event started ? 1 game? 2 games? please specify.

After these above you can join your clan to this cup.
