rcon status

Hey guys. when i do rcon status i only show 2 mabey 3 peeps
on server. when all 8 slots are full with peeps ? this happens
all the time never shows everybody any ideas?????

rcon status

The command "status" is handled by the engine itself not by a mod.

Does "/players" (not /rcon players) show you the same?

/players does show all peeps but no ip's. o well

Rcon is buggy. Use 3rd part software instead...

Tjo.

I have had alot of different Quake3 servers for almost four years. Rcon is buggy use Qtracker or another 3rd part program instead man. If you get problem with Rcon n must use it through the console, its almost always your q3config.cfg that is fucked up. Try backing it up and remove it (all your settings will be gone by doing this). Or use a program like Qtracker (there is probably better programs out there then Qracker). I have Qtracker in my download...:http://files.dnd.se/download/[Q3]/Q3%20Div/Qtracker335.exe. Update it after install. Press Alt+Enter in Quake3 to get it Windowed...
