ROCCAT -> The next generation gaming products?
hahahaa! You are attracting so much from hihg-tech mouses ! I could never understand that! I am used to my simple laser mouse and I do not intend to spend more than 20 € to buy a new one
The most important is competition, the more competitors the better for buyers. I am pleased someone is trying to fight for customers, this may end in one way only, better products and lower prices.
The "christmas tree" site, well, marketing is a must if want to enter on market with new product. Gotta accept this in todays world.
Let's wait for solid tests and everything is clear.
One thing is clear already, logitech and razer are thinking now what to do to keep customers they gained so far, at least I wish they do

What a crappy site

The ROCCAT Kone gaming mouse was presented at Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany last week and is expected to be available in a few weeks with a recommended retail price of 69.99 Euro.
down in the info trance posted
In my opinion, they are making a huge mistake by going with that cheesy mystique gimmick. While that will cater to lyttel kydz, serious people can only "LOL WAT" at what's going on at that website. As for the mouse itself, it wouldn't be the first time someone wants to enchant people with ultra high numbers and fancy abbreviations and next-gen sounding names.
i really dont see where they got this "we're new so lets try to attract people by making a stupid gimmicky website with a flash movie that has nothing to do with hardware in the first place" idea. i mean do they really think people who put up 50+$ for a mouse are really gonna fall for this crap? id seriously like to know who their marketing advisors are.
only 3 products? and only [available 02/2008]
