There are some netcode probs, true, but they can be fixed, and it's prefectly playable as is.

It's a bit harder to fix a dying community that can't even decide whether to trust a dev that has temporal displacement problems or a bunch of dedicated, if disillusioned, fellow players. Smug

And since arqon is working on QL-Netcode, too, it will be definitly fixed.

Yup. And QL is still in beta phase, so there's room for massive improvement.

Well, I also had some barriers, but it just takes a bit of time getting used to. What's fun is that the difference between a good and a bad player isn't simply aim.

QL is already oftopic, but..

so QL have power ups like clan arena?
(does ql have gt freez tag ?)

hah anyway i did played ordinary q3 erm 9y ago, 6after bum.. came e+, since then osp cpm sometimes, and only e+...

its cool on e+ to test many big big maps, maps that is unplayable or not so interesting cause off other mods limitations that e+ dont have ;]
cool evening was and i think will be more with my own cfg with couple friends on own server with some evenings... maps like:
deimos2
zih_weirdf
lollypopdrop
aawy (this one is w.nice..)
etc..

over time we all adopted to e+, if clan arena or ql haz something interesting - those things must be bringed here by makers....

The majority of people think they think, when really they just change their prejudices. Understanding is a matter of will in most cases.

Well, if e+ is to go anywhere, it has to focus on its greatest advantages, like bfg jumps and the possibility to utilize big maps. I don't see how I could ever prefer to play e+ over ql on dm6. Chatterbox

Won't happen.

It's way too late to make any major gameplay changes stick. The only active people that are left in E+ have the mental flexibility of a concrete wall. Hell, even 2 and a half years ago it was nearly unthinkable to do anything to the precious plus gameplay.

Remove multijumps? OH NO ARE YOU INSANE?
Make armor useful? WHAT? PICKUPS THAT ARE USEFUL IN E+?
Make rail non-insta? Chatterbox

You know, it's funny, because now that i think about it, the Excessive side of E+ turned out to be way more lenitent when it comes to mixing up the formula a bit.
