Shady ban.
Banning someone who doesn't like mod will SURELY prove this is not a small-minded redneck community :thumbright:
could write a long post bout 2 and a half years of contributions, 3 pages of screenshots and a 1000 word essay from a neuteral point of view, but u guys don't tend to read those. (like since last ban and stuff)

p.s. afaik arax was banned for no particular reasons few months ago too, just not enough people for a flash-mob so no thread was made

It says everything. I don't think any one of mods is such an idea follower he never said\thought anything similar to the thing Shady wrote. Beside, I know Road posted such things on one of the most popular of the Russia's q3 forums, for what he is getting big "-" in my mind. But that's all he gets. Dislike Shady? Add him on msn and then ban him. Be happy. And if you ban everyone who ever got angry after getting spawnkilled 20 times in 60 seconds and became "FFFFuuUUU" on this mode, comunity will stay pretty empty, you know that.
About the trolling reason.. Strict following the rules would make it almost same interesting to read these topics as text in q3 console while people are muted. Now forum will just become more boring, but not more constructive. In my opinion such "brainless" actions of mods prove that the e+ mode, even with this new 2.0 release, is yet far from success.

well secret, of course ur pov is valid, it is an oppinion. For me shady is just someone, who is always creating trouble without sense, no background, provocing the whole time, not care if someone could feel hurt. He also can't leave the past as it is and look forward. He is often warming up old troubles which won't lead to any result.
There are other ways to be funny and interesting for others, without beeing insultive and provocative most of the time. Personally I wouldn't have had ban him, but I also don't give any F2 for his ban.
And if u mean he is the spice in the soup, or however u meant it. Try a soup from a good cook (no matter if classic or modern or punky cook), and try a soup from shady.
While shady does not care the proportioning of the spices, a cook will always make a good and interesting composition.
For me it is not about what he says, but how. In such things i am sometimes old-fashoned. In a certain measure shady can be interesting and witty, however.
I had a long time problems to react normal, would you can see on my often very emotional posts in past. I had to learn in a hurting way, that it does not make any sense to establish a friendly relationship to somebody in the internet. According that i see everything more calm in the meantime.
Actually i understand the ban, but i would not have done it.
Mad and Frog confirm the ban with their behavior in my opinion, they react just the same as I expected from them.
My last comment in this thread, since I actually posted nearly my whole oppinion to this case.

That's why Shady, and me too, to a lesser extent, stopped even trying to remain consistently constructive and inoffensive. I dare say people here (with a few exceptions) either don't bother to read the longer posts, or don't bother to comprehend them, or don't bother to keep them in context.

On a side note, what pisses me off the most about this is not that Shady got banned, but that the bans that happen lately are so inconsistent and absurd. I got banned for calling someone a pedo, Arax for being sarcastic, Tem twice for, well, being Tem. How long it took to ban Bax? German Killer? Turkish Hacker Dude?
Simply put, the rules seem to apply to just a select group of people, that don't see eye-to-eye with The Man and have strong opinions. First is association with Edawn, now it's random irc quotes. I mean, shit, how desperate you must be to use that kind of stuff just to justify a ban?
And since we're talking about being provocative, what would you call what Fala+Terror did to me? Or Mow saying on irc that i and Shady should never be treated seriously? Or Ali's (now removed, but still) sig, suggesting who to ignore, not to mention his raging Edawn paranoia? Or Spider deleting a post from aNk priv forum? Or, or, or, i could go on, but you get my point. Whoops, smells like hypocrisy.

By the amount of ridiculing and sarcastic posts he made alone, any forum worth its salt would have banned him 2 years ago. This makes the irony of him complaining about redneck, close minded, forums even bigger. Nowhere would he be permitted to come back again and again to speak his mind like that.
The only common denominator of the people harassed by him and his gang was that they at one point or another had criticized him in person. The caricatures not only being way off were always directed at the wrong people - the idiot pole image painted of Fala & Terror is as far as you can come from the truth judging from their posts. They seem to be the most reasonable poles around. This had gone so far that people rather refrain from posting in fear from being ridiculed. The only people safe were those who never spoke their mind or jumped on the bandwagon.
Incidentally almost one year ago to the day, a person was banned and 1 (one) person, mod to that, opposed it in public. Crazy!!!!! So much for redneck close-minded caricatures. Where were you all then ? Atleast this time it's made public and the person asked for it.

Can i ask and how i suppose to react? Im already 4 years on this community and in this time i find out, that people are to stupid to read normal posts. Nobody react to normal posts especially from people which you and some others are calling aNk crew. Some of you even said we are on war with E+.
