really...what is the general purpose of a forum? providing help, maybe a bit of fun time, and that's it ppl.
So why should a little number under your be of any importance? If u get your help, and your fun on the forum, where's the problem?
Imo postcount should be disabled on any forum.

My guess is they took a number and divided everyone's post count by it. For example, maybe 5..if your post count was 1000 it might be 200 now..just my 2 cents

does it measure thier inteligence ?
ppl want have high postcounts couse it make them fell beter its kinda humans atitude to do so, and they unfortunaly dont realize damage they making to us all

Whipe em titles off and let people choose what they want to write there instead.I would recomend not reverting to the old postcount style, this one is better much imo, I'm not sure but maybe this *shows* more who makes contributive posts and a lot of people will probably stop caring about postcount. I'm not bothered about removing it altogether. I'm not sure it will make such a hudge difference really.
