Some questions about 120 Hz LCDs.
wrote:@DarkAngel : 2ms grey-to-grey, but 5ms black-white-black. Acer GD245HQ has 2ms poll rate black-white-black.The response time was traditionally recorded at the full black > white transition, which became the ISO standard for this specification on LCDs. Grey transitions are far more common in practice but in terms of pixel latency, they remained significantly behind the ISO transition.
mm thats interesting, need to read about it
i somewhere saw some graphic bout input lag on some monitors and benq one won there by far.
I have this one, ViewSonic 3D 22" Wide VX2268wm @120Hz , I can recommend you.

it seems to have a wery low input lag according to this
so probably even better then benq
@tanaka benq has : 2ms response, not 5ms
Ity pointless. every producer using different measurement method. For example GtG (grey to grey), Average response (it uses mainly profi producers like Eizo), BWB (black white black) etc. You cant compare response of monitors if every respons uses another method...
i finaly found the comparison i was talkin bout
@ Miguel : Thanks for your reply, but I really want the highest resolution along with the high display refresh.
Otherwise, you have improved your level so quickly since you bought this monitor?
And you did just \r_displayrefresh 120 to put q3 at 120Hz?
Which GPU do you have?
@ Triv : Go ahead please. What you mean? Do you have a link or a source?
yeye Tanaka, but not only the monitor.. i got a new pc, mouse and mouspad (MX518 and Razer Goliathus speed edition) before i played on laptop and i had FPS problems (40 - 70max) and not stable.
In game I have \r_displayrefresh 120 and nvidia settings too. you can change the rate... and my graphic card is Zotac GTS450
edit: btw... thx to Drukqs for help me with the new pc
7. I have the Sony Vaio 3D laptop which supports 120 hz. It gets very dark on this setting, so you'd better keep it at 75. That's how I have it. At 60 hz the refresh rate is causing you eye strain.
HOW ABOUT THIS ONE
