Not really that there is anything in logs, as he changed name when he was connected there is no ip, guid or anything, and he didn't reconnect or so... so, you can add me to msn and tell me what whois said, what alias or do nothing and wait until he is there again and some admin also

ok. I don't have msn at all but I email u next time I see this person. He used name H4H4 or something like that when he started to play. He also used name wazhuf, if i remember correctly. Can't remember what names were on the whois list. If it's too difficult to find him from the logs, just forget it. It's no problem. I wrote here about this problem because I believed he isn't going to stop even if you ban him. This hasn't ever happened to me before. Sorry that I didn't contact you about this by email.

I did search on logs, took me some time, like 2 hours, and nothin from him, i try to see for name h4h4, next time pls try to get at least whois as everyone is free to use W and WHOIS on project 9

Anyway, I haven't been on the server for the past few days, but I'm back now. All!son, I spotted your antagonist and banned him from Project9. Whois'ed the first foul languaged american and it was a hit...

I also banned the german cheater. He said he has stopped cheating, and says he got a dynamic IP. So we may see him back. He said he was not new on the server, but I really don't know who it might have been. Except perhaps an e5 player who is not proficient with rail but wanted to be good fragwise on a e5r server... His IP is 82.83.44.137 and his german ISP seems to be Arcor.

[edit: I was hunting this cheater for a while. He had autoshoot and after I spectated him for several maps to find that out, he was quiting as soon as he saw me join the server. He changed GUID and wasn't afraid of me anymore apparently. Just that you know I'm not ban happy...]

Thanks a lot pannenkoek and tara for help. Cool I believe other players are happy too to get rid of that guy.

I'm sorry Tara that you had to do so much work for this. Next time when there are problems I just send email to you with the copy of whois list. Thanks.

this happened to me a lot... someone fakenick my name, cheat and callvote kick me...

so funny... i didnt care, cos it only happened about 3 times in a period of 2 weeks... havent had any trouble since.

but people are always telling me that they have seen people fakenicking my name when i'm not around in the p9, BU and aim+ servers. which sucks.

anyway. i hardly go to those servers now... only very rarely.
