The best headphones .... ;)
Good headphones without good sound card is nothing...
i have Sennheiser HD600, its good enought for me, not good enought, but i love it, very comfortable.. + X-FI sound card... some day ago i tryed profesional sound card (forget name), damn it rox, but it cost 550eur:\

That is absolutely correct... u will not get the maximum out of your phones if u use some shitty onboard audio (xcept for exceptions like nforce). When I tryed my phones both on onboard realtek crap and a old but good SB! Live with the "real" EMU10k chip, the difference was huge.
UPDATE: I just found that beyerdynamic IS available in my country But the price...the DT150 cost 200 euro
Recently i bought beyerdynamic DT 770 ... definitly the best headphones i ever had .. before i had sennheiser and koss .. you can feel the difference easily , the sound quality is much better , the quality in general is better. Even if they are expensive ,it really worth it .
I'm not gonna say a whole lot, but I know quite a bit about headphones, so ask if you need specific help.
Don't get wireless because I haven't seen any real quality wireless headphones, and wireless adds a lot of cost. Definitely don't get "surround" headphones, they suck. Trust me. One example of crappy surround headphones is the Zalman ones.
Someone recommended these:
AKG
GRADO
KOSS
SENNHEISER
BEYERDYNAMIC
This is a good recommendation. You won't go wrong with most of these. If you like bass, the Beyer DT770 have lots of it. For positioning, I've heard that the AKG K501 have excellent positioning and soundstage.
I personally use Alessandro MS-1 headphones. They don't have a big soundstage but I can still easily identify where sounds are coming from and can kill people before they even know about me. They're awesome for music for their price too. They're $100 USD with free shipping worldwide. The only place to get them is from http://www.alessandro-products.com. They're made by Grado but customized for a more neutral response.
guys what you all think about this products? for music and game.

ew, i hate this kind of headphone. it's supposed to be bad for ur ears too.
@darkangel, the problem with in-ear headphones is no 1 want to give them for listening before buy... and they aren't cheap... buying them basing opinion on someones opinion is kind of ridiculous
i would like to try those to, buy there is no chance for it...
also good ones in-ear headphones are made by shure or denon
@mis, yeah maybe they are damaging ears, but normal headphones if u lisen to loud doing that also
and then if comes to deep bass and comfort in-ear headphones atm powns on-ear headphones badly
i have used quite good and expensive stuff, well none of them is fully comfortable, after few of hours on head ears hurting because of the preshure or heat
if you have the power for a 440 gr. headset i would suggest roccat kave.
sourroundsound by 3 speakers each side and a vibration-modul(whatever you will use it for ) you can chinch out microfon and micro is lighted when on.
i have ordered one yesterday.

OMG
I got the speedlink medusa 5.1, which supposed to be one of the "best gaming headset" with surround sound and mini subwoofer . I think it's a load of crap. 5.1 in a headset is really kinda bullshit. Other than that I can't help you out.
