i use a g5 now but i use to have a mx500 (a long time ago) but i gotta say that u dont feel that much diffrence betvine them, if any. but ofc there is but often u cant see the diffrece whit the eye, just feel it a little, or not. and i think u can use this as a rule as long ass u change from one prestanda mouse to an other. but then ofc diffrent mices match diffrent ppl but who the fuck knows

the feel of 500 is deferent than 510 so im must adjust to it, i have it first day, and some FTF members may confirm its making disaster

btw if somebody got also mx500 mx300 do not "check" "disable acceleration in games" it will make wierd things in acceleration curve and incese sensitivity in game 2x

by and using it for some peroid of time now i must say that playing on 1000Hz is not so nice duno if mine motherboard cant handle 1000Hz or its mice but on 1000Hz mx500 somtimes wont fire if u press button or a hold fire bug will pop up.
In this sytuation u have two posibilites "in_mouse -1" it u get ride then hold fire bug but mouse still will be not firing somtimes if u wish that, second solution is to reduce usb port to 500Hz then it starts work perfect withnout eny troubles

deferences betwen 1000Hz and 500Hz is fealing of mouse, on 1000Hz u can feel that sensitivity is higher than on 500Hz, and i prefer move of this mice on 1000Hz couse for me its more precisier or sharper. On 500Hz mouse work just perfect and smoth as silk, but u have fealing comparing to 1000Hz that some sort of filter was turned on an mouse move is not so sharp as it was before
