Sorry, but i think you guys simply let fanboyism blind you to the truth, and the truth is, Germany played a very_bad_game. Not because Croatia made them play like that in the least, although they were very solid in defense. Compare Ballack from the game he played vs Poland, to him from the game vs Croatia. Vs us he was the king of the midfield, vs Cro he was a distant shadow of a decent player, making wrong decisions all the time, rarely even passing the ball. Frigs was horrible. Odonkor was horrible. Klose was invisible. Metzelder was slow. Mertesacker was slow. Jansen was, just like vs Poland, a liability in def. Gomes just walked here and there between Croatian defenders.

Germany was at least one football class worse than in the first match. I don't want to bum your party here, it's just how it was. You can be glad that Croatia played a decent game (coz they did), but if you failed to notice how bad Germany was.. get some distance to this, mang. Seriously.

Oh, and, you say you cut them off. Yeah, i guess that's why Germany had around 60 to 40% possession in their favour, had only one shot less, and made nearly 200 more passes. You can argue i'm blind, but statistics don't lie. Germany couldn't capitalize on anything, Croatia took advantage of that. Don't make it something it isn't (i.e a crushing defeat after completely shutting them down).

Read what I quoted from u again...i didnt mean U said it,thats what ppl from the countries that lost from us (england and germany) werent admitting cause they were too busy finding flaws in their teams. They couldnt admit it,especially the english ppl and the media. Take any player u want,Christiano Ronaldo,Ballack,Torres and CUT HIM OFF and dont let him get the ball and they will all be shadows. U cannot do much without the ball. Germany had more possession,cause they were mostly maintaining it in strict midfield or their own half,and it was not 60/40,it was 54/46 2nd half and 51/49 1st half. 200 more passes? Yeah,on their own half. Watch the game again and u will see for yourself (I watched the re-run today)

The last goal came 30 seconds before the game ended, amazing.
Though, I'm a bit surprised France didn't score anymore than one goal - They had some pretty good chances.

Too bad for France,but they are out shape which was obvious from the start of Euro. Now they know how it feels when u score and get a back goal after 20 seconds (1998. right back at ya) Tongue

Holland is in top shape,they are damn accurate in finishing. We should all be worried untill we see them against Portugal,Spain,Germany or Cro Smug
