Take any player u want,Christiano Ronaldo,Ballack,Torres and CUT HIM OFF and dont let him get the ball and they will all be shadows. U cannot do much without the ball. Germany had more possession,cause they were mostly maintaining it in strict midfield or their own half,and it was not 60/40,it was 54/46 2nd half and 51/49 1st half. 200 more passes? Yeah,on their own half. Watch the game again and u will see for yourself (I watched the re-run today)

Croatia played an arguably better match than vs Austria, and with full respect for the solid team you guys have, i stand by my opinion that it was Germany that really failed to make anything from the field advantage they had throughout the match, rather than Croatia cutting them off. Aggressive pressing did the trick sometimes, true, but not often enough to talk about any kind of dominance.

Possession stats i have (from uefa.com, btw) say it was 57% to 43% (i admit i rounded it up a bit ;p). This again proves that they had the ball often enough to try and make something useful out of it, but they didn't. Solid defending being what it was from Cro, players of Germany's class should (and IMO in top form, would) have made more of it.

Now, i am not saying all of this because i am bitter about you winning and us losing against them (i fully recognize that regardless of Germany's stance, we played a worse game than you did), i just think you got a little carried away. Let it also be noted i did not mean that Cro played a bad game, and you didn't deserve the victory (it was fully deserved), just sayin' that there's more of Germany playing bad than Cro playing very good, steaming me up a little because i hoped they would show a consistent and good form throughout the tournament. Felt victiorious a little too early and Cro made good on it.

Also, you're lucky to have a player like Modrić, he's pure class.
