Who was it?
FallenAngel later known as Noob.Jesus was the first one to show me weapon jumps. I still see him play from time to time
Otherwise mainly Zoomer4 (back then still known as IceRmaN). He gave me tons of tips and cfg help when i was new here. His style really motivated me to improve in E+ as well as OSP.
Saint, HQ and Hard were also very helpful when it came to mouse advice and some cfg settings.
Thnx guys, nice to be recognized as someone who helped you all out
I'd have to say one of the guys who helped me most in the beginning was Weebl, back in the Lime days *sigh* I keep saying that so much. Skaf and Drill, especially Drill Then there's just been this looooooong list of people who've helped out and been amazing inspiration along the way like Mow, Dragon, Smorg, Torz, Anem, and. Wow. Just everyone in the community has been so helpful and fun to game with.
I guess it's kinda different for some of us because not all have come straight to E+ without having played Quake before, it's just that there's a totally different style and set of skills involved learning to play this mod!
1] Slowdaddy.nl (my dad) who downloaded the game
2] Sexy Red for help etc. and funny time in TFC
3] Tyrant for config help etc
Shit, and Dementor! Enter X! And I remember way way back when I played my first 1v1 on a Euro 1v1 server it was Xab on the old Evol 1v1... damn that server rocked.
Cool Thread.
There's Swedish guy Phat who gave me first config and help (i asked him on server how he could change all through all that weapons fastly by using mousewheel.. ) He's cool guy..
Then there was Trance who owned me so hard that i decided to get better in quake to take revenche somehow..ehm..on somebody..however
Later Zyzio*KO showed me some things about sensitivity which helped to improve much.
Yey and then i found RingZero and #drt_clan with all it's people which probably gave me most help And Nihil had lot of 1v1 sessions with me that was good training ..
Sorry if i forgot someone..
Regards,
Absti
In all honesty, i dont think there is one person that really has put an effort to make me a better player. Except maybe for Wonko, who provided me with a very nice compilation of infos about CPM movement, for which i'm grateful.
Effort or not, however, i still have to give a thanks to Zack, who was for a very long time a gamestyle rolemodel for myself. Other than that, i had to figure out everything by myself.
Oh, and also, i kinda owe it to Dr.Frag's and Keres's paranoia that i started posting on the forums. I doubt i'd got hooked on E+ if it was just the game i was playing, so them accusing me of cheating in fact helped me develop more as a player, rofl. So yeah, thanks.

Nice moderate bahaviour
Korgath was one of the first player i get in touch with and which i also learn alot from. Then in XP i got alot of help. thx guys, And path learn me some new settings. Bfg-jumps and wallriding i learn from duck, latoya jacson, a guy from ctf , and from tifs gemini and faster.
The guy who learned me wallriding was a good teacher. thansk to him i learn it in only 10-20 minutes. and at that time i even didnt know how to handle grenadejumps. Now i practise movent as much as i can with a guy called pathogen very good player indeed. ^^ Then alot of movement i learned from girly aka joy.. She kicks ass
ty alot
Nice moderate bahaviour
I'm just stating a fact. If you wanna troll me, feel free to do so thru pm's or on MSN.
Btw, i almost forgot about all the 1on1's i played with Ina when i was totally inactive, that helped me sustain a degree of form, and in the end, develop some small 1on1 skills. bubu
well nowadays it is {D*R*T}
but in past it was first my bro STiFU because i wanted to get better than him
and ofc i wanted to get better than my teacher Airwalk who taught me very very much
Well i have to admit that i find it really cool to see that playres known or unknown helped other players...thats the spirit of e+ and this will lead to a great future for it. keep that work and e+ will be the best
additionally, i am truly keen of reading more replies
p.s
I have also to add one person who i forgot to write down :)#
